As the official agency spokesperson, I led the development of a new narrative at GSA following a notorious government spending scandal. Developed communications strategies for initiatives within GSA IT, the Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies, and the Presidential Innovation Fellows program. Created innovative marketing strategies for agency initiatives such as GSA’s Total Workplace. Directed social media initiatives for the agency including launching and managing the Administrator’s Twitter account, coordinating Twitter town halls, and branding the agency’s hashtag, #innovategov.

Latino Communications Coordinator

Developed the union’s Latino worker narrative and executed targeted media strategies for all of the union’s campaigns; including healthcare, immigration, and President Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection. Managed relationships with members of Latino media. Staffed and prepared executive officers for interviews. Wrote and disseminated official organizational statements and op-eds
